Egg Hunt

A local church sponsored an Easter egg hunt at our neighborhood park this weekend.  Colin and I joined Amy, Guthrie and little Sammy for a Saturday stroll to the park for the festivites.

Colin was a little overwhelmed by the entire event and mostly clung to his mama.  Most days he loves playing on the playground and running all over but not today.  The sea of kids climbing all over the slides kept him far away.

It probably didn't help that he's getting over a nasty cold and sore throat from last week so he's still kind of on the mend...

And there was a giant Easter bunny parading around that Colin was definitely NOT a fan of.

Eventually he was convinced to reach down a grab a couple eggs (notice he's about as far away from the other kids in his age group...he was happier hanging out on the side lines.)
