Thanksgiving

We've been absent from the blogging world for a while.  The week before thanksgiving Colin came down with another dose of ear infections, I caught a nasty, long-lasting cold/virus (of course at the same time) and Mike was frantically trying to do as much work for school before we made the trip up to Syracuse to spend the holiday with my family.  Blogging, unfortunately, was the last thing on anyone's mind and Colin looked less than cute in any of the pictures we took of him!
So, now we're back and ready to blog!  We drove up to Easton, PA on our way to Syracuse last week to visit our niece, Ellie.  The last time we saw her was at the end of July.  She's grown up so much since then.
Once we finally got to Syracuse we had a nice time with the family-the picture above is one of (hopefully) many more Galuski/Cosgrove family group shots that we'll take in the years to come.  This was taken on thanksgiving day.  You can see more pictures of the weekend here.  Be sure to check out my dad and his accordian!  He took lessons as a kid and still has this amazing instrument.  And he can still play...and really well!  Mike gave it a try.  It's not as easy as dad makes it look!
We are thankful for our visit and our safe travels.  Now we get ready for Christmas!
