8 months

We've had 8 amazing months with this little guy. It's fun to think about all that has happened and all that is currently going on. Mike's recently integrated push-ups into Colin's daily training:
Meal times are still enjoyable-Colin loves eating his food. And, for those checking back in on his fine motor skills progress-he's made leaps and bounds! If a Cheerio lands on his tray, it's immediately in his mouth. Still only two teeth and they're getting taller every day.
Inching-worming is still the way he gets around and while it may not be the quickest, most efficient method to get from place to place, he is becoming faster at it. If he incorporates a roll or two into it he can really cover some ground.

Colin's starting to play little games with us. The other day he was playing with the remote and, of course, was chewing on it. Mike then opened his mouth and Colin took the remote and offered it to Mike, then put the remote back in his own mouth until Mike opened his mouth again and Colin gave it back to him.
This evening before bed Colin and I were playing in his room. Colin likes when you take his blanket and drop it over his entire body, including his head. He gets all excited and laughs alot and quickly removes the blanket from his face. Tonight, after I dropped the blanket over his body and he removed it from his face, he grabbed one end and pulled it back over his head-but I still had the other end and together we made a little tent over him.

We love to love you, Colin!

  2. In the push up shot, he looks red like he's really straining. :) You've got an iron man on your hands.
