Colin's wakes up each morning something like this: rustling around in his bed...little squawks ("ehh")....more rustling...silence....squawk....squawk....rustle, rustle, rustle....and so on! So I usually let him do this for a couple minutes so see if he's ready to greet the day or settle back in to dream land. When I do get him out of bed he's usually pretty grumpy...still shaking off the sleep.
Some yawns...
...a few grumpy faces.....
...but THEN...SMILES! It's really the best time of the day...he's so happy and full of cheer....we love it!
Looks like you were right, by the time Mom comes down he will be all smiles all the time! ;)
