So long tree

Our friend Tim helped us cut down a tree in our backyard yesterday afternoon.  We had three similar trees and have already taken down one about three years ago.  This one was basically on it's way out and part of it was visibly dead already.  Tim is an incredible tree climber and an expert at cutting down trees.  He's really amazing to watch.  Mike has been cutting up the limbs and trunk little by little and hauling the debris up to the street and piling up the stuff worth saving.  This afternoon the action caught Colin's attention.

Once in a while he'd stop watching and almost imitate what Mike was doing: making pulling motions as Mike was starting up the chain saw or just waving his arms around (not really sure what he thought he was doing but it was cute!).

Mike in action.  Actually taking the tree down took about an hour and half while cutting up and hauling the wood once it's on the ground is taking much longer.
