All kinds of weather

In typical Charlotte fashion we've had some amazing January weather this week.  A few days in the 50s and yesterday was near 60.  We went outside to play several times during the day yesterday because, well, you just never know what the next day will bring.
He's still figuring out that drawing on the sidewalk thing:
The chalk always ends up in his mouth at some point.
And we had a blast kicking the ball around the yard.  I pretty much just ran between Colin and the street, which is where he wanted to throw and kick the ball most often.

This evening it started snowing!  They were predicting a "storm" to come through Charlotte tonight and into tomorrow.  But being the skeptical northerner that I am (I grew up in Syracuse and Buffalo, NY) I was highly doubtful of the predictions.  But sure enough, a light dusting is beginning to collect as I type this.  In preparation for the potential snow day tomorrow we got out the Snow book-a favorite of mine from when I was a kid.
It would be fun to have a few inches in the morning-could be our only taste of snow this year.
We'll let you know!
