In one of my many internet searches a while ago I came across these kids swings on e-bay. The bidding process on e-bay is a little annoying to me so I usually just stick to Craigslist (ask Mike!) but I've found some good items on e-bay in the recent past. I've won some and, definitely, lost more. But I won two of these swings: this one we put up yesterday and our neighbors across the street made out with the other one. Colin loves it and we've been swinging every chance we get!
And here's our little attempt at a pool! Our front yard is flat but offers no shade whatsoever. Our back yard is full of shade but, unfortunately, is quite a hill. So, putting a real kid pool of any kind in our yard is kind of a problem. So we went for the make-shift bin of water, propped up with a stick, in the shade of the back yard for some water fun this afternoon.
It really makes no difference to Colin at the moment. He's happy just about anywhere there's water.
