Happenings

Well, it's been a couple days. With Mike off from school for a few weeks we've been filling our free time doing things around the house that we've put off for some time. And Colin's been seeming more like our little boy than our little baby!

When he's in his room he enjoys pulling all the books off of the lower shelves. He looks at them for a few minutes before focusing his interest on something else.

Here's one of our latest projects: a front porch swing. We've had this for about four months but it's been hiding out under our bed. We finally found a couple hours to put it up and have been enjoying it ever since. The weather turned somewhat cooler in the last few days so we've had perfect porch evenings (and free of bugs too!)

My latest favorite is the morning I was putting some little clothes away and I turned around and found Colin crawling on top of the laundry basket. What started with him standing up at it and pushing it around some turned into him grabbing the other side and pulling himself up on top.

Both feet are off the ground!

And then the great tumble to the floor.
